Why do you say “folx” instead of “folks”?

I use Folx as the gender-inclusive version of folks in that I believe it was specifically created with nonbinary, two-spirit, and other gender variant people in mind. Folks was created with the intent of referencing women and men in a gender-neutral manner, but this excluded everyone else.

What’s with the ‘k’ at the end of “magick”?
